Today is Sunday, and it's a great day to do laundry! I helped my mom wash my favorite shorts. They were covered in grass stains from playing soccer yesterday.
We filled up the washing machine with water and detergent, then added the clothes. I made sure to use the cold water setting since hot water can shrink clothes.
While the machine did its thing, I helped my mom hang up some clothes on the dryer rack. I love the smell of freshly washed clothes!
After the wash cycle was finished, we took out the clothes and started folding them. I was excited to see my shorts were clean and looked like new again.
It felt good to help my mom with the laundry today. I learned a lot about how to properly wash clothes and how to take care of them.
